How to make Light Up Gift Card Case.

Hi, crafty friends!

Today I make light up gift card case.


The stamps and dies I used are here.




What you need to make a light up card is like this.
"3V coin cell battery"(CR1216)


The used cardstocks are here.
"White vellum paper"


The used inks and markers are here.
"Copic sketch markers YG63 YG67 BG05 Y06 RV04"


Die cut a kraft cardstock with a tag pocket die and a cactus die.


Die cut a white cardstock with a tag pocket die and cut 1mm inside the folding line.


Die cut a 3mm thick foam sheet with the cactus die.


Stamp the sentiment on the kraft tag using Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink.


Stamp the cactus stamp using Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black and coloring with copics.


Die cut with coordinate die and cut the flower part with a craft knife.


Place the die cut part over foam sheet, and mark the flower part and battery.


Cut out the flower and battery with a craft knife.


Place the kraft tag over white cardstock, trace the outline of the cactus.


Mark my lights and battery with a pencil.


I'm using a small rectangular paper to make switch and cutting along the outline of the battery.
Draw the circuit with a pencil.


Adhere the copper tape on the drawing path.


Adhere the two yellow Chibitronics LED stickers.



Adhere vellum paper on the back of the cactus part.



Adhere the kraft tag on the card base.


Adhere the foam sheet on the card base.


Adhere the cactus part on the foam sheet.
(Don't forget the battery!)


Apply double-sided tape to flap.


Tag pocket is completed.


When you push the part of the cup, the flower glows.
